Green Bay Packers NFC Rival Just Signed A Super Bowl Champion Veteran Wide Receiver

The free agent veteran wide receiver pool for the Green Bay Packers shrunk Thursday as an NFC rival added to their roster. The Packers are transitioning to quarterback Jordan Love being the full-time starter. Right now, he has a young group of rookies and second-year players to throw to.

Head coach Matt LaFleur has said he’d like to add a veteran wide receiver to the team for the fall. The Packers are using their OTAs to scope exactly what they need to bring in for training camp. As general manager Bruan Gutekunst bides his time, one wide receiver is off the market.

According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, the Los Angeles Rams have signed wide receiver Demarcus Robinson.

Robinson was drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He helped the Chiefs win Super Bowl LIV. He has spent time with the Las Vegas Raiders and was with the Baltimore Ravens last season. Robinson recorded 45 receptions for 425 yards and two touchdowns for the 2022 season. He has over 2,000 yards and has scored 16 touchdowns in his NFL career.
