Attacker randomly bashes woman, 77, with ceramic plate, attacks NYPD cops who tried to cuff him: police

A brute randomly bashed an elderly woman in the face with a ceramic plate — and then attacked two NYPD cops who tried to cuff him in Manhattan on Tuesday, authorities and sources said.

Marvin White, 39, attacked the 77-year-old victim at Third Avenue and East 20th Street in Gramercy Park around 3:40 p.m., cops and sources said.

Cops responded and tried to arrest White, police said.

During the struggle, White struck an officer in the face with the kitchenware, causing lacerations, according to cops and sources.

He also hit another cop on the arm, authorities said.

The East Harlem man was slapped with charges including first-degree assault, assault on a police officer, and assault on a victim 65 or older, cops said.

He has three prior arrests, according to sources.

The officers were taken to a local hospital for treatment, cops said.

The elderly assault victim refused medical attention, police said.
